Making an Appointment
We aim to book all patients for appointments within 24 hours. Plain films require no booking.

Preparing for a test
Some tests require preparation before you attend your appointment. Our staff will let you know of any requirements when you book your procedure.
Test Results
The printed copy or CD of your examination will be available almost straight away. However, the report created by the specialist may take longer. If the report is urgent, it will be prioritised. All reports are completed by the end of each day.
Any reports with any findings critical to patient well-being are relayed directly to the referrer by phone. Otherwise, reports are sent by electronic delivery via Healthlink, by email, by fax or by courier. Your doctor may also choose to access the images and report via our Voyager PACS portal.
Cost of the Examination
Almost all of our tests are bulk-billed. Our staff will let you know of any additional costs if you are having one of the few tests that attract a gap fee. If you are an inpatient at Nepean Private Hospital, there are additional charges for any procedures performed while you are in hospital. This is explained in the admission documentation.
